New York nightclub that was the scene of Drake and Chris Brown’s fight re-opens, can only use plastic cups!

Remember the New York nightclub where Chris Brown and Drake had a bottle throwing fight last month? Lots of people got hit by flying glass, Chris made a ‘diss track’, Drake tweeted some cryptic things and W.i.P (as it’s called) had to shut down. Sad for everyone.

It’s reopening tomorrow, but a New York judge ruled that it’s only allowed to use plastic glasses. Well, the flying glass did injure quite a lot of people – including Chris (who was cut on the chin) his girlfriend Karruche Tran, Chris’s bodyguard and some random clubbers who were just on a night out.

The reopened club will also have to search people’s bags on the way in (doesn’t that happen everywhere?) and have ‘enhanced security’. And it sounds like the bottle service might be off as no glass is allowed.
It was rumoured that the fight between Drake’s and Chris’s entourages started after Drake sent Chris a bottle of champagne, with a note saying: “I’m f**king the love of your life”. Ooh! Maybe rappers will have to send each other plastic bottles of champagne now? Wine in a bag? Like inside a wine box? That’s pretty glamourous.
The problems aren’t over for the club though: basketball player and Eva Longoria’s ex Tony Parker is suing the club for $20m after his eye was injured by flying glass. Oh dear.
